Lots happening so far this summer.  The night at the Giants game was a huge success.  This weekend is the final weekend for JO Quals and for the 1st time we have a 10/u all girls team entered.  Be sure you are checking the website calendar and with your coaches for weekend tournament availability and info.

Junior Olympics, Sydney’s Silver Lining & Rumble to Rio…
Rumble to Rio – Wed, July 27th, 7pm
This is our 5th “sendoff” series game before the Olympics.  USA vs Russia Olympics teams will compete the day before girls JOs at Stanford.  This game will sellout and tickets go on sale Wed, June 29th.  Don’t miss out  http://www.rumbletorio.com/
In addition we will have some special events for our club players only to meet the Olympians at lunch.

Junior Olympics – Your coaches will be contacting their workout group re: staffing Stanford for JOs.  The girls will be covering the desk for boy’s JOs, and the boys side of the club for girl’s JOs.

Running clocks & Stat sheet tutorial is Monday, July 18th, at 6:30 pm at Stanford.  Anyone & everyone working is welcome to attend to learn and even teach fellow workers.

Sydney’s Silver Lining -  the story of America’s most important water polo team and the journey to the greatest game in history, by Kyle Utsumi, is at the printers.  All club players will receive a copy of the book as it details the history of women’s water polo and the story of the 2000 Olympic team (which included our Director of Age Group, Bernice O’Connor).
