Summer 2010 – (High School only)

Summer 2010 is almost here.  The information form and registration are below for the high school players.  Age Group information will be posted shortly.  Be sure you read the Information form regarding the format and tryout procedure for the high school groups.  This is new for everyone.

Pre-register is highly encouraged to secure a space in their group.

Kickoff meeting is Mon, May 10, at 7pm, in Kissick Auditorium.  All athletes and a parents are required to attend.  Club attire will be available for purchase as well.

Workouts begin Mon, May 17th.

14s Cal Cup, Sat. Apr 24

All games at UC Davis Schaal Pool.
Be there and ready 45 min before your first game.  This is the final weekend of the Northern California Cal Cup.  The top 4 teams will be playing round robin for seeding at the CalCup Finals, May 21-23 in Irvine.

Senior Day, Stanford vs USC, SATURDAY Apr 24. 4:00 pm

Come watch the final Stanford women’s game of the season.  This SATURDAY, at 4:00 pm.

We will be honoring 4 seniors including our own Kelly Eaton who grew up playing in our club since 7th grade.  Also being recognized are club coach Kelsey Holshouser & Alex Koran who along with Kelly were on our club team that won nationals this past summer, and of course Olympian Jessica Steffens.

April 18 Spring League

Final Spring League Games are this Sunday.

We are hosting  at Gunn this weekend and will need everyone to help setup and work at the desk.  8th Grade B team please be at Gunn at 8:00 am.  Everyone else be there and ready 45 min before your first game.  Novice/6th grade team will need to help clean up at Gunn so be ready to help after your final game.

8th Grade A – at Indian Valley College

We will have water polo and swim workouts the week of April 19th.  This will be the final week of Spring 2010.

Stanford is the only team to enter the girls division so we are competing in the boys division.  Some of the 6th grade boys teams are often co-ed.  We have combined and make 2 teams, based on your responses with Spring Break and vacations.  If there is any confusion or your plans have changed and you can compete contact your coach  (firstname @stanfordwaterpolo.com)

Jr Polo – Short Spring Season April 7th

If you are interested in joining us for a modified spring season of Jr Polo (8-12 year olds), workouts are Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:45 pm at Roble Pool on the Stanford campus (near the golf course):
April 7, 12, 14, 19 & 21

Intraclub scrimmages will be Saturdays April 10 & 24th.

This program is designed to teach kids fundamentals skills, to understand some basics and to have fun.
