16 Red: be at pool at 6:45am to uncover and help set up the scoreboard, clocks, desk, benches and goals. Games at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00 and 12:30.
16 White: be at pool at 9:15. Games at 10:15 and 1:15.
16 Black: be at pool at 7:45. Saturday game at 8:45. Sunday game – check back here for arrival and game time.
JO teams will be traveling together in team vans, staying at the team hotel in their assigned rooms, and supporting all Stanford teams throughout the JO weekend. Rooms have already been set aside for the athletes and coaches.Â

In addition, if you are one of the official chaperones we have blocked a room for you at the hotel already. Be sure you coordinate/reconfirm your chaperone position with your daughter’s coach so we can use all the rooms we have blocked off.

There are a few rooms still available at our hotel if you wish to stay there. Please contact the hotel and use the code SWP for access to our rate, $140 which includes breakfast, happy hour and parking. The unused rooms will be released on Thursday morning so reserve them now. Â
All teams will have morning workout Wed, Aug 4th (probably at Stanford) and then caravan to LA.Â

The following players have been selected for Junior Olympics. We will travel as a team, departing by van in the morning on Wednesday August 4. Players are not required to return in the vans and may leave with family at the end of the tournament, when team activities are finished (we often send our teams to watch other age groups in their final games).
Please let your team’s coach know by Monday July 19 if you will NOT return with the team in the vans.

All skill lessons will be at Gunn HS. (The parking lot will be closed so you will need to use the student dropoff area or park across the street.)Â
Registration is ongoing and on a first come first served basis.  You must get Susan the form at least 2 days prior in order to schedule the instructors. Drop-ins are not available.Â
You can sign up for as many skill sessions as you like. Instructors are club coaches and members of the Stanford Univ Women’s Water Polo players who will get in the water with the athletes. Groups will be 3-4 athletes to maximize the instruction and to allow for lots of reprtition.Â
Skill work is 2x/week and marked in black. Shooting is 1x/wk and marked in blue.

Highlights from the 2008 Blast Off to Beijing Bake Off – the last competition prior to the teams departing for the 2008 Olympics was between the USA and Australia at Avery Aquatic Center.
Anyone who wants to scrimmage show up Friday at Gunn from 2-4 pm . We are having a club scrimmage. Whoever shows up we will make teams, mix age groups, and scrimmage. Just a fun afternoon.
Parking is tough with construction at Gunn so carpool.
All our teams qualified for JOs (2-18s, 2-16s, 2-14s and 12s).
JOs are in LA (at USC, RoseBowl, Commerce etc). We will drive as a team and stay as a team. Athletes will be able to leave with their parents once the club has completed their last game (we will cheer on our teammates).  We are working on the details for JOs including hotels, and will post that as soon as it is finalized in case parents want to stay at the same hotel.
Rosters are not final and will be posted by July 15th.
