All 16’s are invited to attend the games at the West Valley Tournament on Friday. Be at the pool at 3pm. Game times are 4:00, 7:00 and 7:45.

Small Group Skill Lessons
All skill lessons will be at Gunn HS. (The parking lot will be closed so you will need to use the student dropoff area or park across the street.)Â
Registration is ongoing and on a first come first served basis.  You must get Susan the form at least 2 days prior in order to schedule the instructors. Drop-ins are not available.Â
You can sign up for as many skill sessions as you like. Instructors are club coaches and members of the Stanford Univ Women’s Water Polo players who will get in the water with the athletes. Groups will be 3-4 athletes to maximize the instruction and to allow for lots of reprtition.Â
Skill work is 2x/week and marked in black. Shooting is 1x/wk and marked in blue.

20s & Nat’l Schedule UPDATE
One of the teams dropped out of Nationals so the schedule has changed for the White/B teams.
20’s: (5 teams tourney, top 2 teams qualify)

Sat @ Stanford – 8:00 am & 3:00 pm

The Bake Off nears!
Highlights from the 2008 Blast Off to Beijing Bake Off – the last competition prior to the teams departing for the 2008 Olympics was between the USA and Australia at Avery Aquatic Center.
Open Scrimmage, Fri, June 25, 2-4 pm
Anyone who wants to scrimmage show up Friday at Gunn from 2-4 pm . We are having a club scrimmage. Whoever shows up we will make teams, mix age groups, and scrimmage. Just a fun afternoon.
Parking is tough with construction at Gunn so carpool.
On to JO’s for ALL !
All our teams qualified for JOs (2-18s, 2-16s, 2-14s and 12s).
JOs are in LA (at USC, RoseBowl, Commerce etc). We will drive as a team and stay as a team. Athletes will be able to leave with their parents once the club has completed their last game (we will cheer on our teammates).  We are working on the details for JOs including hotels, and will post that as soon as it is finalized in case parents want to stay at the same hotel.
Rosters are not final and will be posted by July 15th.

20/U and National Rosters for Quals
Below are the rosters for qualifying for 20’s and Open Nationals.Â
The qualifying tournament will be held Fri-Sun, June 25-27. The location will change every day but we do know Saturday games will be at Stanford. Fri and Sun most likely will be in Marin and/or East Bay.Â
There are 5 teams trying to qualify in each of the tournaments so the format is a round robin for each tournament (4 games in each the 20/u & Nationals quals – if you are on both rosters you get to play 8 games).  Our zone is allocated one spot but we will get more spaces and the final number will be announced soon.Â
The A team for both tournaments is pre-qualified because the top 4 teams from last year receive automatic bids and we won both championships last year. Therefore just the B team will compete in quals. However, Saturday we will need players on the A team to help run the desk at Stanford, and be there to cheer on your teammates.
Athletes are continually being evaluated and no matter how many teams we qualify there may be changes to the rosters. Final rosters will be announced by July 9th.Â
As a reminder, the actual National Championships are: 20/u July 27-29 & Nationals July 30-Aug 1
