Spring begins on Wed, Feb 22. We will be playing water polo Monday & Wednesday and swimming on Thursdays. Be sure you look at the table on the form with days and times carefully as they vary.
The spring programs includes swimming on Thursdays. Stroke work and conditioning will be the basis of the workouts. For those that are already on a swim team and swim days opposite water polo, you do not have to attend Thur workouts (and there is a modified fee). Everyone else is signing up for the full spring program (water polo and swimming).
Register before Feb 17th to avoid the late fee.

What is next?
High schoolers should be swimming with their high school/club teams. Fulfilling their commitment to their school and teammates is important. And of course swimming is the foundation to water polo. The competitive nature of the sport, racing everyday in workouts and at meets, not to mention getting into great shape is great for both swimming and water polo.
Age Group will start Wed, Feb 22, and conclude Apr 22.  Water polo workouts will continue to be Mon & Wed and be from 6:15-8:15 pm at Stanford. We will have additional swimming workouts on Thur at SHP for those who need or want to train on those days who do not have a swim team they are currently on. We do some swimming in the spring to mirror the high school season and getting in shape for the summer. Registration will be posted soon.
Jr Polo (5th grader/under) will have 2 spring sessions. Spring 1 goes from Feb 27-Apr 21, (taking April 4-10 off for spring break- different schools have different breaks), and Spring 2 from Apr 30-May 12. Registration will be posted shortly as well. Kids can sign up for either or both. Spring 2 will be posted at a later date.
The teams and schedule for this weekend are below. This is the final weekend of the winter and we expect everyone will be there eager to play. Be sure to arrive 45 min, or 1 hour if we are hosting, before your first game. And we will need a parent to help at the desk every game. Have Fun!
Below are the teams and schedules for this weekend’s winter league games. As always check back Fri night in case there are changes.
Be there, ready, 45 min before your first game, unless we are hosting in which case 1 hr. In addition we need parents to help at the desk for every game doing the clocks or stats – thank you in advance.
We are taking signups for those girls in 5th thru 8th grade who want to be ball girls for the Stanford University Women’s Water Polo season. The info and signup forms are below. In hand deadline is Jan 18th.
