Clinic for Girls 2nd-8th grade, Aug 23rd
Water polo is a fun, fast paced, aquatic team sport.
Fall season is the perfect time to join Stanford Water Polo. Try water polo at our FREE clinic for girls, Sunday, Aug 23rd, at Stanford’s Avery Aquatic Center, from 9-10:15 AM.
No experience necessary and girls with limited experience are welcome.

Our Fall season begins Sept 2 for both Jr Polo (2nd- new 5th graders) and Age Group (6th-8th graders). Workouts will be Mondays and Wednesdays at Stanford (see earlier post on this site for more information about Fall polo for girls).Â
2015 Fall Team Suit/Equipment Order (due 9/9)
Age Group members are required to wear team suits and swim caps. Team jackets are highly recommended. Jr Polo members are not required at this time but certainly can order team gear.
Deadline for equipment is Wed, Sept 9. Please return to your coach with check payable to TWPC.

Sun, July 26th, Stanford Head Coach John Tanner and Assoc Head Coach Susan Ortwein, are hosting 3 clinics at Stanford. Position skill work for goalies, 2meters, defenders and drivers. Get filmed shooting and compete in scrimmages.

Academic All-American Program
USA Water Polo has an Academic All-American Program to recognize academic achievement for member athletes.
If you are interested, apply soon because the application deadline is Tuesday, July 21. You have until Friday, August 28 for an official transcript to be received from your high school.
Last year Stanford club had the most athletes on the list!

From that page you’ll be able to find the schedule, results, and other information. The girls play in Session Two from July 30 to August 2.
Some important pages include:
Schedules – you can review the schedules online or download to view in Microsoft Excel (look for the Download icon in the lower right); note that schedules may change before the games begin so be sure to check again and/or buy a printed program at the tournament
Tickets – tickets can be bought online in advance; early-bird discount pricing ends July 15 ($5 off per ticket)
July 11-12 Weekend Schedule

The 16B and 16C teams both play in Santa Cruz on Saturday at the Santa Cruz Classic.
The 14B team plays on Saturday and on Sunday.
Be sure to arrive 1 hour before your first game unless you’ve been told otherwise by your coach.
