When/where did you graduate from high school and where do you go to college?
I graduated from Sacred Heart Preparatory in 2012 and I now go to Santa Clara University

What do you major in at college?
I am a Political Science major with emphases in International Relations and the Public Sector.

Are you playing water polo in college? What is it like?
I am playing in college and it is a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun.  My teammates are my best friends and they make the worst practice that much easier. The rate of play is fast paced and extremely physical, but that’s also what makes the sport so much fun.

What position do you play?
I am a driver/ some times a post up player.

What team was your rival when you played for Stanford?
Our rival team was NorCal, but they changed to SJA my senior year, so NorCal and then SJA. We also hated Xtreme because we played them in sudden death over time at least 3 times.

Do you keep in touch with club teammates?
I do keep in touch with a lot of my previous club teammates.  I continued to play with 4 at Santa Clara (Elizabeth Anderson, Cathy Cantoni, Keri Clifford, and Julia Peters), Pippa Temple and I still keep in touch, along with Olivia Santiago and Allison Larko.  I also play against a lot of them during our college season and it’s great to see them at different tournaments or to play against them.

Favorite memory of the club?
Some of my favorite memories are from the summer before my senior year in high school when we had low numbers showing up to practice and would play geography games before practice with Coach Burke, practice synchronized swimming with Matt Jones, and Elizabeth Olivia and Skylar would show up with 3 phones each trying to win stuff on the radio.  I will also never forget winning the Canada tournament our senior year and taking over the warm-up music for the championship game to play all America music and leaving Elizabeth at the pool deck after our last game of JOs our junior year.

Do you remember any advice from a club coach?
I think some of the greatest advice I ever received from Susan was to “find the wienies”. And one of the best moves she ever taught us was the dead bug.

What advice do you have for the members of the club?
Enjoy the people you are with because the time you have with them goes by quickly and I guarantee you, you will want to keep knowing them as you all go off to college.  Hard work pays off, so keep working hard because there is a lot you learn from your time at Stanford.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
I love to read and I’m the biggest Bay Area sports fan. I like to play basketball in my off season and Settlers of Catan is an awesome game.

Will you be attending the reunion June 26-27?
I will be there the 27th I believe.
