• What team was your rival when you played for Stanford?
Our rivals were Diablo and 680 in NorCal. We also always had some really close overtime games against LA Water Polo Club so I would consider them a rival as well.
• Where do you live now?
I go to Princeton now so most of the year I live there in the dorms. This summer I will be at home in Atherton!
• Do you keep in touch with club teammates?
Yes, my best friends in the whole world are from Stanford Club.
• Favorite memory of the club?
I have so many fond memories from Stanford Club. One of my favorite was going to the BC Open in Canada every year. We were all so pumped to be there, especially after we won the first place game. When singing the national anthem, we out-sang the Canadian fans on their own turf. They were not happy, but it was such an awesome experience.
• What are you majoring in at Princeton?
Psychology major
• Do you remember any advice from a club coach?
I feel like everyone will say this but one piece of advice that has always stuck with me is that being on time is late. I am always the first one on my team at Princeton to practice and always early to work or appointments. Stanford really instilled this in me and I always find it so disrespectful when people are even a little bit late!
• What hobbies do you enjoy?
I love hanging out with family and friends, skiing, bowling, and traveling to name a few!
• Any life milestones you’d like to share?
Winning CCS all four years in high school was pretty awesome! Winning Eastern Championships and making it to NCAAs my freshman and junior year are both huge milestones in my water polo career. Also, last summer I was selected for and played with the British Senior National Team in the European Championships in Budapest. That was an amazing experience and definitely a major milestone.
• Will you be attending the reunion June 26-27?
Yes, I will be at the reunion!
