What were your high school/college grad years?
I graduated from St.Francis in 04′ and UC Berkeley in 08′.

Do you have favorite memory of the club?
So many fun memories being with the club. Traveling was always my favorite part, whether it was to St. Louis for Speedo Cup or Florida for JOs. But I think playing in Stanford’s pool for the first time, the one with the stadium seating was definitely a highlight. To play in that arena, for JO’s or senior nationals, I forget which one it was, but I do remember the feeling.

Did you play water polo in college, if so what was that like?
Yes, I played all four years at Cal. It was definitely a commitment but a wonderful experience. It was great to have that immediate community and play water polo at such a high level. Being a collegiate athlete was also such a privilege and to be a part of the athletic community at a large university is a great experience and something that lasts long after college.

Do you still play water polo?
No, I played in Australia for a year right out of college but stopped after that.

What team was your rival when you played at Stanford?
Our biggest rival was 100% SoCal, maybe San Diego Shores was a close second.

Where do you live now?
I am originally from Atherton, but live in Venice, CA now.

Any life milestones you’d like to share?
No major milestones at the moment 🙂 I am the Senior PR Manager for a fashion company which is probably the biggest accomplishment at the moment.

Do you remember any advice from a Stanford coach?
Ha, so many words of wisdom from all my coaches it’s hard to pick one. Probably the biggest thing that has stuck with me since I was probably 9 or 10, JT told me that if I was on time to practice I was late. To this day I will always arrive five minutes early to everything, no matter what it is.
