Katherine Moore

My name is Katherine Moore and I played as a goalie for Stanford club from 2009-2014.
The times I spent with my Stanford team were some of my favorite memories of high school and I definitely made life long friends. Our biggest rival consistently throughout my time in the Stanford program was probably 680, which I’m guessing is still our biggest competition since I played for Stanford Club last summer.
I went to Saint Francis High School and was varsity goalie for four years winning 3 WCAL championships and 2 CCS championships. I now play at the University of Michigan which has been an incredible experience so far and I still have 3 more years! I plan on majoring in Economics or International Studies.
When I am not off at school I live with my family in Atherton which is not too far away from Avery Aquatic Center. I am currently practicing with the Stanford college team for the summer while I work at the Stanford Center for International Development. On my days off I love to hang out with friends, play tennis, watch movies, and eat lots of chocolate.
I am so grateful to have been a part of the Stanford Water Polo system not only for giving me a good set of basic skills that help me to this day in improving and becoming a stronger player, but also for providing me thousands of happy memories, incredibly awesome coaches, and even better friends.
Yes! I will be at the reunion and am planning on attending both days.
