Congratulations to the 81 athletes on 7 teams and the 9 coaches who represented our club this past week at the Junior Olympics.
We had a lot of succes with the 12s and 14A winning Silver in the Gold Division. 14B team played well ending up 14th. The 18A and B both qualified for the Platinum Division, being just 1 of 3 clubs to achieve such a feat placing 15th & 24th. Our 16s split divisions with the B team winning their last 2 game, and the A’s placing 10th.

Stanford finished second in the 2010 Open Nationals held in Orange County, one goal shy of repeating as National Champs.
Both the 20/u and Open teams finished 5-1.
The 20’s finished 5th, losing to SoCal in the quarter, but beating Diablo, SoCal B, Long Beach, San Diego Shores and Diablo again in the 5th place game.
At Opens we had wins over Great Lakes, SET, LAWP, Socal & Diablo in the semi’s. In the championship game we lost to LAWP 9-10.
Congrats to all the players on a great week of competition.
