She has a strong swimming background and participates in several sports at her middle school, including cross country, volleyball, soccer and track. She has played in two Junior Olympics and three Speedo Cups. At the 2000 Speedo Cup, she was awarded the Jody Campbell Award which goes to a player from each team who shows spirit for the game as well as strong playing ability. Natalie has learned a lot from watching her older sisters Tiffany (now at USC) and Lindsey.

REMY CHAMPION
Remy is an eighth grader who started playing in the fall of fifth grade. She trains and competes in swimming when she is not playing water polo, often popping out of one pool and into another for practices. Remy has played in two Junior Olympics, earning Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2000. She is the only player on the Stanford club and one of only a handful nationally who have competed in four Speedo Cups. Remy was recently featured in American Girl magazine in a pre-Olympic article explaining the sport of water polo. Remy is often seen cheering on her older sisters Haley (swimming at Stanford) and Laurel and has been joined on the 14-under team by her younger sister Phoebe.
